	Preparing to Sell Your Home After making the decision to sell your home, it is very important to objectively evaluate its visual impact. Although there are many other factors involved, "curb appeal" is one of the most important when marketing your home. The more attractive you make your home look, the easier it is to sell. Here is a list of things to do to increase your home's "curb appeal": Paint or retouch interior and exterior paint. Replace any cracked windows and screens with holes. Replace any burnt out light bulbs in fixtures and lamps. Repair any broken doors or fences. Repair any leaky faucets and plumbing. Wash windows. Clean carpets or consider replacing if worn.
